AI can generate a fictional character in seconds.

These objects do not need to be formalized immediately.
In fact, formalizing them too early can make exploration harder.
Generation is cheap. Curation is expensive.

Before generative AI, inventing a hundred pieces of lore took time.
Now the bottleneck is often deciding which pieces deserve to exist.

50 possible factions.
The problem is no longer:
“Can I come up with enough factions?”

You might have developed one version of a character in one conversation, changed their motivations in another, and created a related faction somewhere else.
The information exists.

The model can help you explore the world, but the workspace still matters.
Notion and structured worldbuilding
Notion is useful when you want to turn a fictional world into a structured reference system.
You can create databases for characters, locations, factions, or events.
